Informant - Agenda, Tasks, Notes Planner App Reviews

Ive been a happy Informant user since the Pocket PC days... primarily for the superb week view. I love the new look, the widget and the default alarms!

Why on earth have you guys eliminated week view with time bars in this new version? Now I have to go back to standard iOS Calendar app to have a week view. I dont like list of events, I prefer to see them on a week grid.

Expensive for what it offers. October is showing the 20th two days in a row! I dont know why the configuration is not intuitive, somehow confuse.

O programa é muito bom, mas seria excelente se fosse em Português. Já pensaram nisso? The program is very good, but it would be great if it was in Portuguese. Have you thought about that?

I have use it on an everyday basis for quite sometime now and it has my preference over several others ive tried. It is specially good if you work elsewhere with Google agenda. There is still room for growth but this update is a major improvement. I highly recommend it.

It will take around 40 to set up everything and get used with app layout. But it worth it. If you are a planner freak, love Franklin Planner approach, are used with Outlook style, and are a heavy task/calendar user, this is for you. I tried all of the, and they are for kids. This is for business professionals. Worth every cent. Congrats.

Its just getting even better. But not in brazilian portuguese

It USED TO BE one of the best Calendar Apps. But now it has a BUG that makes it blinks and all your calendars disappear. The only way to recover it was restoring your iPhone from your iCloud back up. But version 4.51 lost everything with no recover... Not even restoring from iCloud... And its happening at least once a week with me... Besides that, they changed the name and some features of the original app and started selling it again as a new app (even for old loyal costumers). That doesnt feel honest to me... But the BUG is the worst. And they are now selling a Cloud Pocket Informant back up solution... From an app and company that are presenting DATA LOSES BUGS... You just cant trust an app that loses all your calendars and data! Im already looking for an app to replace it...

Na ultima versao deu problema na aba de eventos e focus. Nao consigo mais criar eventos no "+" do focus nem no "+" do eventos. Since de the last update 4.52 the focus and event tab showed problems. A press the "+" on both to create an event and it doesnt work anymore.

The most interesting free features have been removed.

Very, very high battery consumption. Inserted place of the appointment isnt compatible with Apples own calendar (so for e.g. the main widget - which cant be removed - cant tell me when to leave). Very, very slow in showing weekly calendar (on an iPhone 6s Plus!). No iCloud sync instead you have to pay for syncing over there server (so they have all your data!). No Apple Watch complication. And much more. This app fails at the bases.

I only use Pocket Informant to organize my to-do lists, events, everyday schedule.

I installed and reinstalled this app throughout past years a few times, mainly to sync issues. But I always fell back, due to its abilities and design catering to the professional user. No other calendar app could satisfy our needs as well as pocket informant. With the outlook of a MAC app pi will close the circle, we are looking forward to that.

Pocket Informant Pro has most likely the most flexibilities to annotate events, tasks, and notes out of calendar apps in AppStore. But it requires a lot of clicks to enter any of these. And the truth is, Im tired of this. So, Im returning to one of the others which requires 3-4 clicks to accomplish inserting events etc. in spite of poor calendar display. Linpad As long as PI has repeat tasks not shown in the calendar , I cant use it. Smarten up, people! 3/3/15

Like the design but notification doesnt work

I have used this app for years and for the first time Im being bugged to pay 16 bucks to allow for sync. Now a days this should be given. Time to move on.

I paid the money and kept upgrading, crossing my fingers that maybe it might work like its supposed to and it never has. Its crazy, it bombs, sometimes spectacular when it does in that my entire iPad reboots! It get confused by orientation changes and switching from day to month or back will often crash it. I only stood by it so long since I paid for it but now me and informant are done, I am tired of its constant crashing. I am hoping ms sunrise will work as promised, it appears to be way better designed!

The new update broke the invite attendees function. When I select someone it wont let me invite them. The search function doesnt work either for the contacts. Please fix

Was the best calendar, my paid version now crashes after auto update. Cant even backup, on my ipad ios7

By far the most used App I have. I sync with Exchange for calendar and use Toodledo for tasks (I find much better than Office). This app has undergone numerous upgrades over the years and each time I am always worried they will change something for the worse. I just wanted to keep as it was because I was so happy with it. Anyhow, each upgrade was really welcome and made it even nicer to work with and to look at. I was also really concerned about calendar and task apps where some cheaper ones make copies of all your tasks and calendar events making it a real pain to have to go through and delete the duplicates - this has never happened to me with this app. This is by far the best task/calendar I have come across (however stopped looking at the others some time ago). You really cant go wrong with this one.
