Installed for the first time and after 2 seconds it says the my 7 days trial period is expired so I have to buy the full version. Result: I removed it after 10 seconds!!
The best calendar app available, with a great support and an active team behind.
It fits your needs, whatever they are, due to its multiple customisable options. There a lot of synchronisation sources too. Frequent and stable updates
Nothing to say
Best app in this category. Outstanding and efficient support. I could not restore my purchases on my new iphone, the in-app support chat solved the problem in 10 minutes!
This is the best app I have ever bought. Ive used it for about a year now on both my iPhone and iPad, and I couldnt be happier! There are so many things that you can do with this app. You can even back it up to Dropbox. I have always loved using agendas and wasnt sure how Id feel using a something electronically, but this is truly amazing! You will not be disappointed! Update: I have been using this for so long, and I am constantly amazed at how great it is. It is the most important app on my phone!
This program is one of the best out there, if and only if, you use the software on-screen keyboard only. With either Apples Smart Keyboard of Apple Bluetooth keyboard the application either hangs or wont accept input. For serious productivity workers and professionals, having a keyboard work seamlessly with the app is a necessity. Upon informing Informant of these issues they mentioned that it was iOS fault. Well I have many productivity apps that I use with my iPad Pro, and not one of them has issues witht the keyboard.
After searching for the perfect calendar app I finally found the one closest to what I need. I love the monthly view and how you can see at a glance what you have planned without having to select the day as in a apple calendar. The color coding makes it awesome and easy to see your planning for the month. The only issue I have is a bug that seems like an easy fix but has not been fixed yet.. where if you edit the wording of the event, it sometimes changes the original color you assigned that event which can be a little annoying since you have to take an extra step to change the color again. Fix that and you have the perfect calendar app.
This app has so much potential but it gets so bogged down, so often, that it cant keep up with simple event adds, or even just trying to scroll through multiple days. Have tried several iterations of it & it continues to be a dog. It has the best interface & features, but the slowness & the constant bogging down make it unbearable to use. Fantastical is your next best bet. ***To the developers: Please slim down the features or beef up the servers, because this setup is easily the best out there & this could be the best calendar on the market hands down, if it just wasnt such a dog. Ps: I have an iPhone 6 Plus with the latest iOS update, so the user hardware isnt the problem.
I have been using this app for over two years and couldnt live without it. I have all my work and personal projects setup in it with hundreds of future tasks included. Syncs perfectly with my work Outlook calendar. This is my number one app that is open all day on my desk. I am amazed at what this app can do.
Update: the app randomly is moving around my events to random days. Help desk dismisses it, saying it this were the case, theyd have thousands of complaints. Horrible customer service. My complaint is my complaint, I dont care if no one else is having it. He says no reason to switch apps... A joke?? A calendar that cant keep a date?? Give me a break. Best calendar by far, but good luck synching devices. Its an absolute mess synching via Google calendars. If you want it streamlined through them they practically rape you for $15 per year. Yes thats -per year- for your devices to "talk." I cant think of any other app that has tried such a shenanigan.
I really appreciate all the thought that has gone into this app. Ive been keeping track of it for years now, but never been able to use it as a replacement to the iOS native calendar until now. Great job! Also appreciate the iPhone reminders sync. Since I can sync reminders with my Exchange account I now have a way to get my tasks from Exchange on to my phone. The tasks functionality in the app doesnt thrill me quite like the calendar, but it is adequate and Im sure this developer will improve it over time. Note: The Exchange task syncing via Reminders app is limited. It will sync the tasks, but Reminders "lists" become task "folders" on the Exchange server not "categories" If you use Exchange (Outlook) categories and create a task in Informant, the new task will show up in the default "Tasks" folder. You would then have to add the category to the task in Outlook.
Have used PI for years and this is the first time I have been unable to open PI after downloading the latest version. SMH...
This really is the best app on my phone! It is a much better calendar than the iOS native calendar because I can see whats on my schedule without opening each day separately. The tasks are great because they incorporate GTD. I even use GTD to set my goals and break them down into milestones and then individual tasks! Awesome app!
Best app to use with Outlook, hands down! Even show % complete on app! Love it!
Simply the best for managing your calendar, tasks, contacts, notes and more all in one very well designed app!
Please allow to sync with calendars that others Google ushered have shared with us.
This is a wonderful App to use for organizing my week and each day! Having the notes and tasks all a part of the same system is awesome! Ive tried other programs which kept everything separate and only somewhat integrated, but I keep coming back to PI
9/19/2016: just renewed full pro version/Sync for year/$14.99. Fully worth it. If you need tight integration of calendars/scheduling/reminders/tasks/notes (!!) in one app which is carefully maintained by developer, this is it. For working people, this kind of app is no joke. Apple is constantly updating their OS, and to maintain such a functional integration across multiple devices, clouds, operating systems is a constant labor of love. Informant is a value. Buy it. (I am a doctor; I dont know the developer at all) 5/6/2016: essentially a closely curated app development. Have had a problem with screen freezing; developers are all over it. Very responsive support. For complex work, one needs very good app support. These guys are fanatic about support. 7/18/2015 have latest version and absolutely no change in my stellar opinion of this app! Buy it . ---Impossible to praise enough. I have used such highly integrated organizers for 15 years, first on Palm with DateBk5 (which was really the standard of reference in this type of program on PDAs then). This is a superior integration of form and function. Most importantly, this app is curated by its developers. They truly care to support it and us, the users. The price is a pittance for what you get. Buy it.
