Informant - Agenda, Tasks, Notes Planner App Reviews

I have used this app since buying my first iPad years ago. I use it on a daily bases on iPad, iPhone and for the last year on my MacBook Pro. OSX version. Recommend it to everyone.

Update- 4/24/2016- just want to advise I downloaded the latest release of PI and I am still very impress...This APP is the best calendar app for the IPAD...I plan to get an Apple laptop soon and I plan to use the MAC version for my calendar on the laptop. *old entry * I am a long time user of PI (windows version). Now this update finally merged contacts, notes and PIM together. I have been reading about some problems people are having with the upgrade and I have to say I did not have any upgrade issues. I have had this product for 6months now....i do see it hang from time to time....from what I can tell....it only happens when I tinker with tags.. Now I do like the new upgrade and features and noticed I use the APP a lot more now and it is my main business APP to manage my day planner schedule ......I use the notes feature a lot ...nice feature to document your meetings, add quick notes and document conversations. What I do not get is the attach a contact feature ....not sure why it is there...I am guessing but figure is the beginning of linking of data to a contact that should be coming in the future to the product...similar to the windows version. I just want to say...it is nice APP...my 2cents...

This is by far the best calendar app Ive used. It does everything I would want one to do. The only thing I would like it to do is have an option to add work promotions or such, like as a background thing. For example I work for McDonalds as a Store Manager and we always have promotions going on. Its really hard to keep track of when it starts and when it ends or when a new one begins and such. So I would really love to have an option where I can add a promotion to the calendar and not have to save it as an event or task. Hope this is included in the next update. Other than that I love this app.

Not the cheapest app in the store, but definitely worth it. It syncs flawlessly with Calendar, ToodleDo, and Reminders, and you can switch between different to-do systems: GTD, Franklin Covey, & Simple Tasks. Being a visual kind of person who likes pretty colors, I love being able to put the tasks in blocks on the calendar for the day; it forces me to make my to do list more achievable. If there were a drag and drop way to do this, straight from the task list, it would be even better. (Or maybe there is already and I just havent figured it out - every day, I seem to find another feature that makes it even better.) Ive bought other organizer apps before and have been disappointed with their syncing ability - one even rearranged all my tasks in Toodledo and wiped my events in Calendar - but Pocket Informant is awesome. Practical, flexible, good to look at. Love it.

Weather features are lacking for the past three versions. The new icons for the weather are harder to see. If some fill and shading was used it would be easier to see them. They were better before the entire weather feature was changed several versions ago. The wind speed units are km/h and cant be changed to mph. Pressure is only available as hPa. Radar does not work on my iPad version at all and the iPhone version shows a map and no radar echoes! Bring back the weather as it appeared in version 4.81.36 P.

Its ok but there are some bugs that will hopefully be fixed.

Powerful calendar and task management software. Worth every penny.

Ive used PI for a number of years now and IMHO its still the best "all-in-one" calendar, task, note, etc. app available. Yes, Ive tried numerous others, but always came back to this one because of flexibility and options. In fact, 90% of the time I came back in less than a week. The most recent update has been great with improved and added features and options.
