Updates for the sake if updates!

Its too bad that a useful and reliable app starts to ruin its simplicity and usefulness by adding unnecessary bells and whistles.
Where once it was just a press of the record icon and it started to record, now its press record, go to next screen, press record ( thereby missing the beginning of what you wanted to record) and all for the sake of some extra cool moving squiggles indicating you are recording?

Informant is an organizational app. Keep it clean and functional for those who like it that way.
